  1. Thanks for making the settings so that people like me who aren’t on Facebook can still see everything on page, Tobias. 🙂

  2. I just wanted to pass this along from IDA’s Sustainable Activism Campaign for anybody who may be interested. It’s at 5:00 pm today (U.S. Pacific Time), but IDA posts all their webinars on youtube, so they can be viewed later.

This is their youtube channel & you can already view other videos of past webinars, sustainable activism tips, help for compassion fatigue & trauma, etc.:

We’d like to let you know that we’ll be presenting an online webinar today at 5:00 p.m.and the title of it is:

Ten Keys to Staying Positive Facing Animal Abuse

It is part of the Sustainable Activism Webinar series organized by In Defense of Animals (IDA). If you can’t make it today, you can watch the replay later at your convenience. It’s open to all.

This presentation will focus on some of the primary ways that animal protection advocates can stay positive, happy, and effective in the face of working to stop the enormous amount of abuse to which animals are subject. Some of the topics that will be covered are: meditation, exercise, creative expression, connecting with nature, developing an empowering morning routine, cultivating gratitude, enhancing internal environment, supportive relationships and mentoring, turning despair into action, and exchanging self and other. Dr. Tuttle will also discuss some of the underlying principles of effective animal advocacy, and will be happy to respond to questions and concerns from participants.
