The intention behind this presentation, given at the CARE conference in 2022, is to both recognize the negative feelings activists may sometimes feel, as well as to inspire them to keep going. I talk about my own doubts and despair, but show that there are good reasons to be optimistic about humanity, our movement, and ourselves.
